CCEE1626 Mixed media

We are ending the month with Vicky's final challenge for June as one that will use mixed media.
I used ink, acrylic paint, stenciling, Micron pen, sequins, and a sticker over a piece of design paper.
The roses are from Altenew. The sentiment is from Verve. I used a punched paper as my stencil and sponged on the key west acrylic paint. It did great for coverage on the design paper. I diecut the roses and used rose bud, rhubarb stem, and clay pot for my ink for the roses. I used pear tart, bamboo stalk, and cottage ivy for the leaves. The lace sticker I had in my stash from Dollar Tree.

Make sure you check out all the other creations from the other team members over at the blogsite.
If you want to join us, make sure you add CCEE1626 to your post on SCS. You can attach your card to the comments section over on the CCEE blog.

June's Power Poppy's Power and Spark Challenge

The deadline is upon us, so I decided to take part in this month's Power and Spark Challenge over on Power Poppy's blog. I am mailing this card to sweet mother of one of my childhood friends. She is in a nursing home now and hope this will brighten her day.

Check out this challenge over on the Power Poppy Blog here. I used Power Poppy's Flowering Branches digital design. I used copic markers for the coloring.

Getting to take part in Mojo Monday this week. I did some sponging for my big background shape and used Verve stamps for the rest.  This is a perfect way to start my week. Hope you have a great week, and thanks for visiting my blog!

CCEE1624

Vicky is again our hostess and the challenge this week for the CCEE Stampers is to make a birthday card to add to our card stashes. I can always use a few of those around when I need them.

I partially embossed this card front, stamped the top and middle and added punched flowers.

CCEE1623

Morning ya'll.  Vicky is our hostess this month!!!

Today is Donald Duck Day!!!  Donald has been around since 1934. Happy 82th birthday, Donald!

Let's celebrate Donald by using a duck..real or imaginary.  Extra points if you use Donald or any other fictional duck on your card.  Let's see what you come up with.

I used my Spellbinder duck die for my four ducks, and a wave die for the water. I decided I should do a little stamping since this is a stamping challenge, so I stamped the mini leaves and flowers that are from Rubber Stamping Tapestry. The sentiment is computer generated.  I have had a week of trying to get my ducks back in a row around my house as I was away last week on a mission trip to Baldwin, Louisiana. Sorry I missed last week's challenge. Here's a photo of our group that compiled health kits for UMCOR (United Methodists Corp of Relief). We had the honor of packing a container with flood buckets, health kits, and bedding kits that were being shipped to the Ukraine. It took a little over 2 hours to pack it. The rest of the week I worked on completing health kits that are going on the next scheduled container. Some of us sewed school bags, completed flood buckets, or helping locally to build a wheelchair ramp.

If you join in on the stamp challenge, please add your card to the linky HERE.  If posting on splitcoaststampers, please add CCEE1623 to keywords.

Have a fun, creative day and be a blessing!

MOJO451

Back to do a little stamping this week, and thought the MOJO451 challenge would be a great one to start with and enter in their monthly contest. I love this layout and used some of my Verve Stamps to complete it. The CAS challenge over on Splitcoaststampers was to use polka dots and stripes, so I did that too.,,although this is not a true CAS card in my opinion. Happy Monday, and hope Grace does find you where you are today and I'm praying that grace will work its magic to make a significant positive change in your day!!!
